Day 1

Apt – Negombo

Day 3

Dambulla

Visit Sigiriya Fortress after breakfast. Your city trip will begin with a visit to one of the old world’s wonders, the Sigiriya Rock Fortress. It is also designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Sigiriya Rock was built by the renowned King Kasyapa as an old fortification that served as both a palace and a garrison. Sigiriya’s impressive rock fortification can be seen for miles in all directions and dominates the surrounding plain. The Sigiriya Complex is made up of a central rock that rises abruptly 200 meters above the surrounding plain, as well as two rectangular precincts to the east and west. The rock is encircled by two huge moats and three walls, where crocodiles were introduced in ancient times.

Day 3

Yala to  Ella

Climbing Little Adams Peak in Ella is a popular tourist activity since it allows them to appreciate the view of the valley, relax, and interact with other travelers. It takes around 45 minutes to travel from Ella Town to the slopes of Little Adams Peak, and about 15 minutes to reach the peak. While the ascent may be difficult for some, the entire route is really enjoyable as it passes by small communities and tea plantations.

Waterfall of Ravana When it comes to Ella tourism, the famed Ravana Waterfall is a must-see. It is one of the main waterfalls to visit in Ella and is about a 10-minute drive from the city center. Near the waterfall, there is also tent lodging available, as well as refreshments and souvenirs. Dambulla to Kandy

During your city trip, you will visit one of the world’s historical sites as well as a sacred spot for Buddhists all over the globe, the Temple of the Tooth Relic, also known as Dalada Maligawa to Sri Lankans.

Kandy

After breakfast, you will be taken to Nuwara Eliya (City of Lights), which is endowed with a healthy temperature and stunning vistas of valleys, meadows, mountains, and vegetation; surrounded by hills and tea plantations, Nuwara Eliya has spring-like weather all year. It was also called as “Little England” by the British, who attempted to transform Nuwara Eliya into a normal English settlement. The ancient brick post office, the country house-like hill club with its hunting portraits, trophies, and stringent formal dinner clothing; the 18-hole golf course, the horse racing track, and so on, all have an “England” feel to them.

Day 7

Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast, you will have a city tour of Nuwara Eliya, visiting the town’s key attractions such as the golf course, trout streams, Victoria Park, and boating or fishing on Lake Gregory. You may also go on a tea factory tour to see how the slow-growing tea plants of this highland region create some of the world’s best Orange Pekoe tea. Seetha Eliya and Haggala Gardens can also be included. Seetha Eliya is a temple described in the well-known epic Ramayana. Haggala is a temperate hill-country garden filled with languid low-country lotuses and water lilies that float in their tranquil beauty.

Colombo’s architecture spans centuries and exhibits a variety of styles. Many Portuguese, Dutch, and British-influenced colonial constructions coexist with structures erected in Buddhist, Hindu, Islamic, Indian, and modern architectural styles. This is nowhere more visible than at the city’s core, the Fort district. Colombo also has a plethora of shopping malls and department stores selling brand-name clothes. As a result, it has become a popular tourist shopping destination.

Famous Colombo attractions include Galle Face Green, Viharamahadevi Park, the National Museum, the Twin World Trade Centre towers, the Old Parliament Building, the Fort district, Independence Hall at Independence Square, and prominent Buddhist, Hindu, and Islamic sites.
